Organic growth and strategic acquisitions support continued expansion and diversification across Latin America and the Caribbean

Evertec, reported revenue of $283 million for the third quarter of 2026, a 24% increase compared with the same period last year. The results were driven by contributions from recent acquisitions, organic growth across most business segments, and favorable foreign currency movements.

On a constant currency basis, revenue grew approximately 21%. Adjusted EBITDA increased 19% year over year to $110.5 million, while adjusted earnings per common share rose 16% to $1.07.

“Evertec’s transformation is translating into strong results. We have built a broader, more diversified company with greater scale, deeper capabilities and more opportunities to grow across Puerto Rico and Latin America,” said Mac Schuessler, President and CEO. “Our third-quarter performance and updated full-year outlook reflect the momentum across the business and our focus on executing against the long-term opportunity ahead.”

Puerto Rico and the Caribbean

Payment Services revenue reached $60.1 million, an increase of 9% year over year, driven by higher point-of-sale transaction volumes and double-digit growth in ATH Móvil transaction volumes, particularly through ATH Business.

Merchant Acquiring revenue also increased 9% to $51 million, supported by higher sales volumes and transaction activity among merchants, as well as pricing initiatives. Business Solutions revenue totaled $58.6 million, a 5% decrease compared with the same period last year.

Latin America

Evertec reported revenue of $143.6 million, an increase of 59% year over year, or 52% on a constant currency basis. Growth was supported by contributions from the Tecnobank and Dimensa acquisitions in Brazil, as well as organic expansion across the region, including new and expanded client engagements and increased demand for value-added services such as digital recovery, analytics, and cloud solutions.

During the quarter, Evertec also completed the acquisition of a 67% stake in BBChain in Brazil, expanding its capabilities in blockchain, tokenization, and digital asset technology infrastructure. The acquisition builds on Evertec’s investments in the Brazilian market and strengthens its position to address emerging opportunities as financial services continue to evolve.

Evertec’s performance reflects its continued transformation into a more diversified financial technology company. Today, close to half of its revenue comes from markets outside Puerto Rico, compared with 14% in 2015, reflecting more than a decade of regional expansion and investment in new capabilities.

Beyond its geographic expansion, this transformation also includes the adoption of artificial intelligence to improve productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency. Early pilots involving ATH Móvil and engineering teams in Brazil are exploring opportunities to accelerate software development, while additional applications focus on incident management, cloud optimization, and commercial operations.

Following its third-quarter results, Evertec raised its full-year 2026 revenue and adjusted earnings per common share outlook. The company now expects annual revenue between $1.088 billion and $1.096 billion, representing growth of approximately 16.7% to 17.6%, and adjusted earnings per common share between $4.00 and $4.08.
