This new phase consolidates the relationship between two of the most influential companies in the regional payments sector, with a comprehensive focus on accelerating digital transformation, reinforcing transaction security, and optimizing processing to respond swiftly to the demands of issuers, merchants, and consumers. Evertec is moving toward a deeper collaboration with Mastercard through three strategic lines of action:
- Improvement of operational and payment management processes, streamlining new card issuances within the Mastercard network and providing updated functionality to both new and existing issuance programs.
- Integration of Mastercard solutions into its transactional infrastructure platforms, expanding its technology offering with next-generation, high-performance capabilities.
- Joint creation of digital products to address the specific needs of institutional clients and the regional market.
Additionally, both companies are working in coordination to integrate and implement solutions focused on fraud prevention and comprehensive protection of digital transactions, reinforcing trust in the financial environment of Latin America and the Caribbean.
